This campaign was pretty simple, I got a Full Sized bottle of Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil and a BZZGuide! This product will run you about $5.99, but it's well worth it for more ways than one. I will get into that later.
This is what I received in my box, obviously very simple. Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil is a breakthrough innovation that is used not only for hair, but for skin as well! You can use this Dry Oil to add a nice shine to your hair, and leave it silky smooth, but you can also use this for dry hands, or dry spots on your face to leave your skin nice and moisturized and hydrate! Taking a look in the BZZGuide, they write that:
- This product blends weightless olive, avocado and shea oils to transform dry hair and skin.
- It's made for everyday use on hair, body and face.
- Instantly absorbs in a touch with no oily residue.
- Can be used on dry or damp hair.
- Available at grocery, drugstores and mass retailers (like Walmart and Target) for a suggested price of $5.99.
Breaking down the product from it's three main ingridients, the BZZGuide tells us that:
- Olive Oil: Moisturizes, protects and replenishes dry hair, improving it's strength and elasticity. Your face and body will benefit from the antioxidants in it that protect skin against damage.
- Avocado Oil: Loaded with Vitamin E, it protects against dryness while locking in color and moisture to keep hair looking radiant and soft. Avocado's natural hydrating abilities promote soft and supple skin as well.
- Shea Oil: Known for having unique healing properties, shea oil rejuvenates damaged hair and leaves it with a healthy shine. It's also a good moisturizer that helps improve elasticity in skin.
Now that I've given you some good insight, I'm going to go into what this product has personally done for me.
Okay, now I'm a Garnier Fructis lover. I love almost everything that Garnier Fructis makes. This product is awesome, but the hair part is just not working for me.
I live in New England (Massachusetts to be exact) and it's very raw and dry in the winter. Usually it's not bad, but this year we've received a blizzard and multiple larger snow storms, so my skin has been drying out. This product works PERFECTLY for my skin! Literally, it makes my hands so soft and it's made the dryness and peeling go away, so I love the product for that. I would probably end up buying it after this runs out just for that fact. I can put the oil on my hands, rub it in, and instantly start to use my electronics without it leaving a greasy residue on the screens or keyboards.
My hair, however, does not like it. I used it twice so far on my hair. Once dry, once wet, and it didn't really work either time. I liked it more on my wet hair than I did dry. When I sprayed it lightly on dry hair, it made it look super greasy and oily. I didn't like looking like I hadn't washed my hair in weeks. I did like how soft it made my hair though. That was an absolute plus. The second time, I sprayed it on my wet/damp hair. I liked that a lot better than spraying it on my dry hair, but it still made my hair look greasy. It parted a lot less than putting it on dry, and still managed to make my hair soft. I may still use it on my hair once in a while to get the silkyness, but most certainly not before I go out.
I have not used it on my face yet, but plan on doing so. I usually have a combination face (cheeks and forehead get oily, but inbetween eyebrows gets very dry) so I will be just dabbing it on my problem areas.
Overall I feel that this product is awesome, but not for my hair, mostly for what it does for my skin.
This product has NOT changed my view on Garnier Fructis, I still love it all the same.
