BZZAgent: Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge Campaign 2013

Yes, yes, yes. Another week, another blog post, another BZZAgent Campaign. This time I was sent the new Hydra Recharge System from Garnier Fructis (Courtesy of BZZAgent of course.  If you haven’t read my other post, BZZAgent is an awesome site that allows you to get put into “Campaigns” and test products, that are totally free, tell others about them (by giving samples they send, or coupons!) and then review them (and of course I’m all about reviewing items). This is my fifth Campaign (previously had Afrin Nasal Spray, Neutrogena Norweigan Hand Creme, Glade Expressions, and Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Miracle Dry Oil). This campaign was AWESOME! I received 3 FULL SIZED products! The Hydra Recharge Shampoo, Conditioner, and 1-Minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment. The items of this system range from a suggested retail value of $3.99-$6.99.

Of course, here we have the Shampoo, the 1-Minute Treatment, and the Conditioner.

The BZZ on the site (not street...eh? Good? I'm awesome.) is that the Hydra Recharge line harnesses the natural superfruit powers of goji berry, passion fruit and kiwi, this new team of Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge products has accomplished the seemingly impossible task of actively replenishing dry hair without weighing it down.

BZZAgent informs us that the Hydra Recharge Shampoo is a hydration innovation; the first to feature thousands of beads that burst on impact for rich, creamy lather and deep hydration. Pair the shampoo with Hydra Recharge Conditioner and 1-Minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment to get the full effect of this breakthrough system that instantly recharges dry hair with a burst of high performance hydration that lasts.

They also tell us that the Hydra Recharge Line:

• Works best on dry to normal hair (I used to have soft hair...but dying/straightening has lead me to having dry hair!)


• Keeps hair weightlessly silky for up to two days! (And they're not lying)


• And, it's available at grocery stores, drug stores and mass merchandisers!

The first step, and part of this line is the Shampoo of course!

According to BZZAgent,the Hydra Recharge shampoo is a hydration innovator, featuring for the first time thousands of beads that burst on impact. Now, usually these beads bug me, you know the ones that are in body wash that get stuck under your nails? Well these are NOTHING like that! They dissolve perfectly, and very quickly. Now this is a very awesome, special shampoo. When you first squeeze it out on your hands, it's like a gel texture. It feels like the kind of styling gel you put in your hair, except it's thinner and it has these little beads in it. When you put it on your hair, it feels weird rubbing it into my hair, but then with the snap of your finger it turns into this awesome lather. I've never had a shampoo that lathers so much, but I'm not complaining! It's awesome! Now something I noticed is that this shampoo smells good, but it's not strong, and I've realized the smell strengthens as you go up with products. I'm not sure if it's just me, or if others have found that as well. On the BZZAgent site, it says that the beads are "little pockets of moisture" that are formulated for lasting hydration! The bottom line is that this will be my NEW go-to shampoo!

The second step and part of the line is the 1-Minute Treatment!

BZZAgent says that the 1-Minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment is a powerful deep treatment whose revolutionary lightweight crème-gel formula transforms dry hair with a surge of high-performance hydration in just one minute. I think of this treatment as a pre-conditioner. I thought that it was just going to be conditioner in a different type of bottle, but it wasn't, it's a whole different product and I love it! I use this product right after I shampoo, and I will let it sit while I either wash up, wash my face, or shave. Although it says "1-Minute" you don't actually have to leave it in for only a minute, you can leave it in a little longer, which is what I usually do. This Treatment has a very soft, creamy texture, that just glides into your hair perfectly. BZZAgent says for best results use 2x a week...usually I just use it when I wash my hair, which is anywhere from 3-5 times a week, which I know isn't really healthy, but I can't help it! I like that this isn't a leave in product. I find that leave in products really make my hair feel weird and weighed down which is exactly what this system doesn't do.

Lastly, is the Conditioner!

This is the final product that pulls all 3 of them together! The wonderful Conditioner! I have a crazy obsession with conditioner, I have to use it all the time, and I use more than should be needed. I need every inch of my hair to be covered in it, I can't stand feeling "dry" hair while using it. The site says the conditioner contains superfruits goji berry, passion fruit and kiwi to actively replenish without heaviness. I find that this product smells the BEST out of the three, and is the strongest scent. Not only does the hydration last throughout the day, but the smell does too, which makes me happy! I hate when conditioners scents last until your hair is dry, and then it smells like...hair? Just dull, boring, scentless hair. Anyways, like I said before, this product tops it all off, and it makes my hair SO soft and smooth that I can't even stand it (in a good way).

I feel that this product is a MUST for people with dry to normal hair. Not only is it affordable (there are often coupons to help deter the cost) but it's long lasting, and revives your hair!
