Secret Outlast Clear Gel!

I’m part of the Influenster group where you get a chance to receive VoxBoxes that contain products that you get to try out and review. I recently was chosen to be apart of the Spring Fever VoxBox, and inside of it I received Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant! This is the first of 5 items I will be reviewing, so please stick along for the ride! :)



 

Secret Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant is not only a deodorant, but it's an antiperspirant as well. I don't know about you, but I have to use a deodorant with BOTH aspects to it. I can't lie, I'm a sweater, and it's a little embarrassing so to stop it in any way possible is a must for me! This is a basic deodorant/antiperspirant that really has no ground breaking technology besides the fact that it doesn't leave white marks and it's 48 hour formula gives you comfort for a while! From the card:

"Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant leaves fewer white marks on clothes than the next leading invisible solid! And, with 48 hour odor and wetness protection at such a low price, why pay more?"

I have been using this for the past couple days and find that it works just as good as the next deodorant from Secret. I don't find anything completely unique about it, besides it's gel formation, which I'm not too crazy about. I really like that it doesn't leave those dreaded "white marks" that secret speaks of. Those things are a PAIN! I love the scent of this deodorant as well! It smells SO fantastic, and keeps my pits smelling wonderful. I'm really loving their advertising with the "Deo Dance"! One thing I'm not liking is the amount that is in here compared to the container. As you can see in the picture above, the deodorant is actually only about halfway up the container. With this being a gel, I feel that too much comes out in one click, so by the time you're done using it for the 2nd time, it's already almost finished. I feel that I use gel deodorant much faster than solid deodorant.

In all, I really feel that this deodorant is good for people who don't necessarily need to wear it all the time. I think that for normal uses, you'll be buying a lot of deodorant by using this as your main one, especially if you do 2 to 3 clicks PER under arm...
