The Trendy Box June 2013 Unboxing & Review!

Less than a week ago, I was sent an AWESOME box from the wonderful Issy over at the Trendy Box! The Trendy Box is a monthly subscription service, in which you get a box with 2-4 items a month (necklaces, rings, wallets, mirrors, hair accessories, bracelets, ect.)! This box includes a lot of high quality jewelry that you get monthly all for a low price! This means a lot of variety in your wardrobe, which is always a plus for women! This box is $25 monthly, $75 for 3 months, $150 for 6 months or $280 for a year subscription! With the monthly payment, you're able to cancel at any time! Not to mention you'll receive a special gift in your birthday month! This is a fantastic service that I think all jewelry lovers need to subscribe to! :)

This month's box, according to their news on their website, is called "Make a Statement". It includes a statement necklace that is sure to make heads turn!

This is how my box arrived (of course, in side a regular brown box)! How cute is this?! It's an AWESOME present! And I didn't even want to undo the wrapping...

But I did, and this is what was in it! I was actually very surprised at the items in the box. I immediately fell in love with it, and wanted to wear everything at the same time, but had to wait to take pictures...boo! My box came with 4 items, an information card, and a beautiful business card!

The first item I received was this pair of flower earrings! These are so gorgeous, and look like Hawaiian flowers! They have little rhinestones in the middle of them! I tried to get a good picture, but because of the shine, I was unable to capture it good. Unfortunately I don't have my ears pierced yet (I had them pierced a few years back, but have an allergy to nickel, and they kept getting infected so I let them close up), so I was not able to wear them. I will be keeping these for myself though as I will be getting my ears pierced soon :) Another thing that I'm not a fan of is that there is no brand name on them, it's just a plain black back hanger...but they're still awesome :) From the card:

The next item I got SO excited for! SO EXCITED! I was reading about these online the same day I got the box, and was freaking out because I wanted one!

This is a Bow Wrap Bracelet! How cool is this?! It's a super long bracelet that you can wrap up your arm, or just coil it around your wrist. This one is a little bow that has beautiful rhinestones all over it :) I fell in love with it the minute I saw it in my box!

I also thought the closure of the bracelet was awesome too! It looks like a dog collar :) I love this item, and can't wait to wear it! From the card:

I'm a huge arm candy person, so this will definitely be worn :)



Next is my all time FAVORITE thing I ever received in any box EVER. It's this ring from Luxe that spells out LOVE in cursive! Holy. Crap. I'm in love with it. At first I was looking at it and was hoping it would at least fit one of my fingers. Then I tried it on and it wouldn't even go on my pinky! I was so upset...that was until I looked at the card and sticker on the packaging...it's a knuckle ring! It's not supposed to go all the way down, it's supposed to sit on top of your knuckle! UGH I LOVE IT!

I couldn't really get a good shot, so of course I have to show it off for you guys!:

I love the way it looks, and I love the way it fits. I actually love it so much I've been looking for more online! :) From the card:

I really do love this, and I will most certainly purchase more! :)

The last item is another favorite of mine! This is a mint green owl necklace with a gem charm, a hawaiian flower charm, and a leaf charm! :) I honestly really love this! Not only is it super cute, but it's my signature color! I love Mint Green, and have 12 nail polishes in the color...I just am obsessed with it :) I haven't got to wear this yet, but it has an awesome length to it, and it's not just regular chain! The chain contains little balls on it, which is such a nice touch to it. The little flower charm on it is the same flower from the earrings I received, so I think it's cool they match! :) The owl's eyes have little rhinestones in them! From the card:

I love this, and can't wait to pair it with some matching polish and earrings :)

Overall I really love this box, and think you get a lot of high quality items for the cost of it. The one thing that bugs me is some items don't have the brands name on it, so I'm not sure where it actually comes from. Of course, on Trendy Boxes website it clearly states some items are purchased wholesale, so I guess you're not guaranteed a name, but as long as the product is good and it's not cheesy or doesn't break after 1 use, I'm happy! :) I feel $25 is a steal for the items in here, so needless to say I will purchase this box soon!
